This week I had comedian/actor Kalea McNeill come do a craft with me! You may recognize her from one of her many guest appearances on shows like My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Criminal Minds or S.W.A.T. If you're really lucky, then you've had the pleasure of watching her do stand-up comedy. Whether it's in person or on her comedy special Sma'am, you're guaranteed laughs...like, laugh til you cry kinda laughs. And if you don't recognize her, trust me, you will soon! Kalea opted to make a decorative stash jar. If you wanna try this project, I'll walk you through the steps here. Honestly, this one is an absolute breeze, so let's get into it!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

--Clean Empty Jar (eighth jar or condiment jar)

--Washi Tape (you can also use spray paint, stickers or adhesive gems)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Before you start decorating, make sure that both the jar and lid are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and dried. TIP: If you have any sticky spots from leftover labels, rubbing alcohol is a good way to get them off.

  2. Choose a design or color scheme. You can draw out several designs to help you visualize what might work the best, or you can just go with the flow.

  3. Once you have your design or colors, you can just apply the washi tape, and you're done. TIP: If you decide to use spray paint, cover the threading and opening of the jar so paint doesn't get on the inside.

And there it is, another super speedy, craft!
